Draw procedure

There will be four pots:
Pot 1: five teams to include Spain, as the reigning European champions
Pots 2, 3 and 4: six teams
France are not included in the pots as they are automatically assigned position 1 of Group A.

Group Stage

The 24 teams taking part in the final competition will be divided into six groups of four teams.
The six group winners, the six group runners-up and the top four teams of third-placed side qualify directly for the final tournament.
